The annual tuition fee is paid in two equal installments, before Fall and Spring semester course registrations, by the deadline in the academic calendar.
Newly admitted students pay the Fall semester installment before the registration period. The Spring semester fee is paid before Spring semester course registrations. No refund will be made to students who cancel their registration after final registration. After registration is completed, leave of absence for the upcoming academic year is not allowed.
There are three methods you can choose to pay the tuition fee:
Bank branch: The tuition fee can be paid at branches of Garanti Bank, Türkiye İş Bank and Yapı Kredi Bank through their tuition fee payment menu (refer to “Bilkent Üniversitesi Öğrenci Harç Tahsilat Hesabı”). Banks do not charge any transfer fees for these transfers.
Pending on the approval of the contracted banks, semester tuition fees can be paid in four equal installments. In this case, an additional 2% transaction fee is charged. Re-application must be made at the beginning of each semester for installment. Detailed information about installments
Internet banking: The tuition fee can be paid through the internet banking systems of Garanti Bank, Türkiye İş Bank or Yapı Kredi Bank.
Credit Card: Tuition fees can be paid in one payment with credit card. It is also possible to make installments to credit cards with the cards of some banks. When payments are made in installments through credit card, an additional 3.5% transaction fee is charged. Payments can be made by MasterCard or Visa. It is not possible to pay using two separate credit cards.
When paying the tuition fee, you will need to use your T.C. ID number or Bilkent University student number.
