Bilkent Student Project Wins Silver Medal at iGEM Competition
A team of undergraduate students from Bilkent won a silver medal at the International Genetically Engineered Machines Competition held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US, for their project “Smelling Cancer.”

A Breakthrough in Atherosclerosis Research
A new study that is published in Science Translational Medicine from the laboratory of Ebru Erbay shows that a lipid with unusual physiological effects and made by our bodies can prevent atherosclerosis, when supplied long term via orally.
