Meteksan Defence Industries Inc. is among the most reputable and well-respected companies in Turkish Defense Industry, established in 2006 to develop and produce high technology products and subsystems for Armed Forces.
The systems and subsystems Meteksan Defence produce are used for command and control, communications, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence purposes, and they apply to several different platforms, especially for surface and underwater platforms, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and missile systems.
The company operates in six fields; radar systems, perimeter surveillance systems, laser and electro-optic systems, communication systems, underwater acoustic systems and platform simulators. Within these areas, Meteksan Defence has completed various projects both in Turkey and international market, such as ground surveillance radars, helicopter and UAV radars, data links, altimeters, counter drone systems, Anti-Jamming GNSS, hull-mounted sonars, submarine sonars, naval training simulators.
Meteksan Savunma Sanayi A.Ş., 2006 yılında Bilkent Holding bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren yüksek teknoloji şirketlerinin savunma sanayiine yönelik proje ve aktivitelerini tek bir çatıda birleştirmek ve koordine etmek üzere kurulmuştur.
Şirketimizin kuruluş amacı savunma sanayi sektöründe, Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı’nın da vizyonu doğrultusunda, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri ve diğer güvenlik güçlerimize yerli, milli, bağımsız ve özgün, yüksek teknoloji ürünler ve alt sistemler geliştirmek ve üretmektir. Ürettiğimiz sistem ve altsistemler; komuta kontrol, haberleşme, keşif, gözetleme ve istihbarat maksatlı olarak kullanılmakta; su üstü ve su altı platformları, helikopterler, insansız hava araçları ve füze sistemleri başta olmak üzere birçok platformda yer almaktadır.
Bir Bilkent Holding Grup Şirketi olarak Meteksan Savunma’nın elde ettiği tüm kaynaklar, daha fazla öğrencinin burslu okutulması ve öğrencilerin en modern biçimde eğitim alabilmesi için Bilkent Üniversitesi’ne aktarılmaktadır.
Şirketimiz Radar Sistemleri, Çevre Gözetleme Sistemleri, Lazer ve Elektro-Optik Sistemler, Haberleşme Sistemleri, Sualtı Akustik Sistemler ve Platform Simülatörleri olmak üzere 6 alanda faaliyet göstermektedir.
