MArch. Mr. Gündoğdu Akkor, who has been with Bilkent University since its foundation, serving as a vice rector, member of the Board of Trusties, and also undertaking managerial positions at Bilkent Group of Companies passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. We wish to extend our profound condolences to the Akkor family and the Bilkent community.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Doğramacızade Ali Paşa Mosque at noon prayers. The burial service will be held in Cebeci Asri Cemetery.
A bus for the funeral service will depart from the front of the Rectorate Building at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
