International and other students admitted in accordance with the Higher Education Council’s Regulations for Admission from Abroad
Tuition fee for the 2021 – 2022 academic year:
– Admitted before 2016 is (%8 VAT included 13,932 USD, VAT excluded 12,900 USD)
– Admitted in or after 2016 is (%8 VAT included 14,472 USD, VAT excluded 13,400 USD)
The tuition fee can be paid in two equal installments by the due dates before the Fall and Spring semesters.
Tuition fees can be paid in Turkish Lira (TL) only within Turkey. If students prefer to make a payment in Turkish Lira instead of USD, the USD effective exchange rate of the Central Bank of Turkey on date of payment will be used to calculate the TL amount.
Students may also wire transfer the tuition fee from their home country to the bank account provided below. Please note that students should have their full name written on the bank receipt and that this receipt needs to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office.

Students who are admitted to Bilkent University in accordance with the Higher Education Council’s Regulations for Admission from Abroad, Article B) a) 1,2,3,4 or 5 are required to pay the tuition fees for the students admitted from abroad.
In line with this regulation, students who are eligible to register at Bilkent University and had acquired Turkish citizenship at birth, but later renounced their citizenship status with the approval of Ministry of Internal Affairs are required to pay the tuition fee for the students admitted from abroad even if they have the legal document which grants their previously acquired citizenship rights as stated in the citizenship law. Turkish nationals who complete their secondary education in a foreign country are also required to pay the tuition fee for the students admitted from abroad.
