Dr. Serkan Belkaya Receives Research Award

Dr. Serkan Belkaya of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics received the Isil Berat Barlan Award in Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases Research.

This award is given to an eligible scholar under the age of 45 for excellence in research on the causes, diagnosis and/or treatment of Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases by the Turkish Society of Immunology, together with Professor Talal Chatila from Harvard Medical School, in honor of Prof. Işıl Berat Barlan, a distinguished physician-scientist and an educator that made invaluable contributions to the fields of Allergy and Immunology in Turkey and internationally.
