Prof. Hilmi Volkan Demir, has received the Turkish Physical Society’s International Special Honor Award for 2021.
Prof. Hilmi Volkan Demir, director of UNAM and faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the Department of Physics, and the Materials Science and Nanotechnology Graduate Program, has received the Turkish Physical Society’s International Special Honor Award for 2021. The Society presented the award to Prof. Demir at a ceremony held on September 1 during its annual international physics conference, which took place in Bodrum this year. Recipients of the organization’s several annual awards are proposed and selected through its council.
Prof. Demir works in the field of semiconductor nanocrystal optoelectronics and nanophotonics.
