Prof. Sinan Gezici of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has received the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Science Award for 2024.
The Science Award, presented annually, is the Council’s highest scientific award. Prof. Gezici has been awarded the prize in the field of Engineering Sciences for his internationally recognized and outstanding work on location estimation in wireless communication systems.
To date, TÜBİTAK has awarded the Science Award to a total of 17 faculty members from Bilkent University.
Two professors from Bilkent University have been recognized with The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Incentive Awards for 2024.
Assoc. Prof. Cem Tekin of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, has received the award in the field of Engineering Sciences for his internationally recognized and outstanding work in the fields of machine learning, data science, and cognitive communication.
UNAM Asst. Prof. Fatih İnci, has received the award in the field of Health Sciences for his internationally recognized and outstanding work in the fields of biomedical engineering, biotechnology, and nanotechnology, particularly in the areas of innovative disease diagnostic technologies, biosensors, microfluidics, microneedles, and their clinical applications.
