Assistant Professor Türker Özsarı has been awarded with ‘Masatoshi Gündüz Ikeda Research Award’ given by the Mathematics Foundation for his contributions to mathematics.
At the award ceremony, Türker Özsarı gave a seminar titled “Results on the Well-Posedness and Control of Evolution PDEs on Domains with Boundaries”. The Masatoshi Gündüz İkeda Research Award is awarded to honor young research mathematicians working in Turkey, to recognize their outstanding research, to make it public and to promote high quality research. The award was established in 2002 in memory of Masatoshi Gündüz İkeda, who had universal contributions to mathematics.
Dr. Özsarı’s research fields are analysis of partial differential equations and control theory, in particular, design, analysis, and controllability of initial-boundary value problems (IBVPs) associated with spatio-temporal phenomena in applied sciences.
Dr. Özsarı is the recipient of Young Scientist Award (BAGEP) of Science Academy, Research Incentive Award of Parlar Foundation.
