Zumba and STRONG By Zumba in One Master Class

A master class including elements of both regular Zumba and “STRONG by Zumba” workouts will take place on Tuesday, October 23 at the Main Sports Hall, organized by the Physical Education and Sports Center as part of the Sports as a Way of Life program. The class will feature choreography by Ahsen Küçükdurmaz, Yeliz Dingler, Aslı Yılmazkaya and Onur Sever.
While regular Zumba is a dance-cardio workout featuring Latin music, colorful lighting and a party vibe, STRONG by Zumba incorporates strength and interval training, using music as the motivator in a high-intensity workout. And, yes, it also keeps the lights and the party atmosphere.
Zumba has been tremendously popular at Bilkent, with the last master class attracting 184 participants. Students who take part in this month’s class will earn points for their Sports as a Way of Life “mountain groups.” In addition, those taking GE250/251 will receive 40 points for the course. And points or no points, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the exercise and music!
