Bilkent Composition cordially invites you to the first edition of BEAMS — Bilkent Electroacoustic Music Summit, taking place between 3–6 June 2026 at Bilkent University.
BEAMS brings together concerts and other activities around electroacoustic music, immersive sound, live electronics, and spatial listening. The program includes five concerts: immersive fixed-media works, live electronics, works by Bilkent composers, and a special opening concert for viola and electronics by Üzeyir Mahmudbaylı.
As part of BEAMS 2026, we also organized an international call for immersive fixed-media works and received 65 submissions from composers from 18 countries. Selected works from this call will be presented in the Sound in Space concerts.
