“Pawlucki-Plesniak operator for non-Markov sets”
Abstract: In 1988, Pawlucki and Plesniak introduced an extension operator W for spaces of Whitney functions defined on a compact set K. The operator is continuous in the Jackson topology, which coincides with the natural topology τ of the space under the Markov property of K. We analyze W for a special case of a non-Markov set K with the extension property and show that it is continuous in τ.
