“Partially Positive Semidefinite Maps on *-Algebroids”
Abstract: This is a continuation of the previous week’s talk.
By linearization of the constructions for *-semigroupoids, we obtain similar results for operator-valued partially positive semidefinite maps on *-algebroids with the unit, and then, for the special case of B*-algebroids with the unit, we obtain a generalization of the Stinespring’s Dilation Theorem. As an application of the generalization of Stinespring’s Dilation Theorem, we show that some natural questions on C*-algebroids are equivalent.
