“On symmetric and dihedral invariants”
Abstract: Let S and D be the symmetric group and the dihedral group of order n! and 2n, respectively. In this talk, we discuss some recent works on the algebra of S-invariants and D-invariants in some certain noncommutative and/or nonassociative free algebras.
