Dina Iordanova is a professor of film studies at the University of St.Andrews. She is an international authority on transnational cinema, global film industries, and film festivals, as well as on Eastern European and Balkan cinema. She has been a distinguished visiting professor at universities in the USA and across Europe and Asia, and recipient of multiple awards from organisations such as the Rockefeller,
Leverhulme and Carnegie Trusts.
