Abstract:
On April 4, 2023, a conference titled “International Protection and Migration in Turkey on the 10th Anniversary of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection (LFIP) No. 6458” under the auspices of I.D. Bilkent University, Human Rights Studies Application and Research Center. The aim of the conference is to evaluate, by leading academicians and practitioners in the field of migration, the progress made by the new institutional structure established by LFIP, which was passed in April 2013 and resulted in a comprehensive reform of Turkey’s migration management system, over the past decade, and to share future predictions related to both internal and external factors.
