Title: “AnkaraAks – Young Spirit of the Capitol”

Summary: AnkaraAks consists of representatives of university communities in the fields of culture, art, architecture, and design in Ankara and produces for the city. AnkaraAks takes its name from the development axis of the Jansen plan, which is the Atatürk Boulevard, which reflects the modern assembly of the capital Ankara. It also bears the initials of “Ankara Culture and Art / Ankara Kültür Sanat”. AnkaraAks has produced and worked on projects with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Ankara City Council and Rahmi Koç Museum as well as other institutions.

Biography: Born in 1996, Merve Şanlı graduated from TED Ankara College Foundation Private High School. Later, during her higher education in TED University Architecture Department, she has been involved in various activities, organizations such as the Void Mag, UMÖB, Art & Culture Society where she has taken different roles regarding art, culture, and architecture. As a co-founding member, she has been performing different tasks in projects under AnkaraAks since 2019. As of 2020, she has still been continuing working with AnkaraAks after her graduation.
