Fazıl Say at Bilkent: “Hermias,” Selçuk Yöntem (Narrator), Serenad Bağcan (Soloist), Bilkent Odeon, 9PM May 29

“Hermias “, composed by the pianist and composer Fazıl Say, inspired by the mythological Hermias legend, will meet the audience at Bilkent Odeon on May 29.

This Aegean myth was narrated by Özen Yula and the story is telling a warm friendship of a child and a dolphin .

In this work, while the soloist Serenad Bağcan revives “Hermias’ mother, Fazıl Say gives a sound to a dolphin with his piano. Selçuk Yöntem is telling the story to the audience with his impressive rendition.

In this fascinating Aegean legend, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, conducted by İbrahim Yazıcı, will accompanied to the strong renditition of Say’s piano.

In this concert, works will be performed from Fazil Say’s song albums as well as Hermias.
