Bio: Bahadır Kurdoğanlı is a Solution Architect at Orion Innovation with a deep technical background in Product and Software Architecture within the telecommunications sector. He holds a B.S. in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from Istanbul University. Bahadır specializes in architecting complex software infrastructure, focusing on large-scale automation, virtualization, and containerization. His engineering expertise centers on modern cloud-native platforms—including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack—where he designs and develops robust pipelines and works on implementation of microservices for 4G and 5G networks. Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Solution Architect at Netaş, where he concentrated on the software architecture of Core Network products. He possesses extensive experience in defining technical roadmaps and utilizing tools to optimize software performance and system reliability.

Abstract: This presentation explores the critical distinction and relationship between high-level Architectural Patterns and granular Design Patterns (such as Gang of Four), with a specific focus on their practical application in the industry. While Design Patterns solve localized programming problems, Architectural Patterns define the fundamental structure of software systems. Drawing from real-world scenarios in telecommunications and cloud computing, the session will demonstrate how these patterns coexist and complement each other in large-scale enterprise solutions.

The presentation language will be English.
