Bios: Hüseyin Yağlı is a technology leader with over two decades of experience in software development and engineering management. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hacettepe University and his Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from Middle East Technical University (METU). Currently based in Amsterdam, he serves as an Engineering Manager at Booking.com, where he leads a team in the Fintech / Partner Payouts domain, focusing on stabilizing and scaling systems that process payouts for millions of global partners. Prior to joining Booking.com, Hüseyin spent nearly five years at Udemy in key leadership roles, including Senior Staff Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager. During this time, he led the architecture and implementation of robust payment solutions that processed millions of transactions monthly. His diverse career also includes significant engineering leadership positions at HAVELSAN, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, and the Turkish Land Forces, as well as experience founding and managing his own technology firm.

Dr. Turgay Yılmaz is an experienced software engineering leader with over 20 years in the software industry. He holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. During his PhD studies, he was a visiting research associate at the Toyoda-Kitsuregawa Laboratory at the University of Tokyo. Throughout his career, he has held roles including software developer, software architect, team leader, and engineering manager at organizations such as EES, Rakuten Institute of Technology, TURKSAT, HAVELSAN, Powerhouse, and Elsevier. He is currently a Software Engineering Manager at Booking.com in Amsterdam.
