Abstract: This seminar explores Automation and Continuous Testing Methodologies in modern software development environments, where scalability, reliability, and rapid delivery are essential. The session focuses on automation strategies, CI/CD-integrated testing practices, and efficiency-driven quality approaches in complex systems. Emerging topics such as AI-driven and cloud-based testing will be also discussed, highlighting their role in optimizing modern testing processes.

Bio: Barış Aşkın holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2016) and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. His Master’s research focused on automation-based functional testing of telecommunication applications using Selenium and Appium. With nearly a decade of experience in Quality Assurance and System Testing, he has worked on telecommunication systems, security camera systems, web and mobile applications. He has delivered in-house SDET (Selenium) training programs and lectured on Quality Assurance and System Testing at the university level.

The presentation language will be English.
