Concert 1: 18:00 – Sonic Spheres: A Collection of Immersive Audio Works
This concert will feature works by composers of COMD 527 “Creative Sound Design and Synthesis”: Erkan Can Arslan, Özkan Umutcan Bapbacı, Zeren İldoğan, Öykü Sağlam, Adnan Şahin, Doğa Tansel, Emre Uğur, and Ömer Ürensel. These pieces explore the possibilities of Dolby ATMOS creating a truly enveloping sonic landscape.
Concert 2: 20:00 – Sound in Space: Acousmatic Music for 16 Speakers
The second concert will feature acousmatic and interactive music designed for a special 16-channel 3D immersive setup. This concert will feature works by Deniz Aslan, Alican Çamcı, Ada Dinçer, and Tolga Yayalar, with a special performance by renowned guest artist Hideki Kozakura featuring Deniz Yakar on Trumpet.
