Some background information about the POWER project:

POWER is a project of Strategical Partnership for Youth of the Erasmus plus programme. The main goal is the “Empowerment of Youth on Renewable Energy for Sustainable Societies”. Within the scope of this project the consortium created a concept to instruct and train young students from middle and high school with help of the so-called peer learning methodology. During the next three days, young students from Bilkent University will become educated as peer-instructors and will give their knowledge to highschool students in five different cities in Turkey in the next three month (Canakkale, Trabzon, Izmir, Igdir and Hatay). Central part of the project is a Renewable Energy Poster Exhibition which was created by my COMD335 students (Science Writing and Journalism). The poster exhibition was evaluated within the scope of a reception study at Bilkent and Tilburg University/Netherlands.
