We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Prof. Dr. Enver Hasanoğlu, former member of the Board of Trustees of Bilkent University and one of the distinguished scientists of Turkish pediatrics, on March 7, 2026.
We wish to extend our condolences to the Hasanoğlu family and the Bilkent community.
The funeral will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Mimar Kemaleddin Hall of the Gazi University Rectorate. Following the ceremony, the funeral prayer will be performed after the noon prayer at the Gölbaşı Cemetery Mosque, and he will be laid to rest at Gölbaşı Cemetery.
