Abstract:
This experiential workshop introduces participants to the basic principles of mindfulness meditation. After a brief overview describing these principles and the benefits of meditation, participants will be guided through a meditation session focusing on the breath. The workshop will conclude with time for Q&A.
About the speaker:
Michael Ryall has an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts and has been certified as a mindfulness meditation teacher through the University of California. He teaches in the English Department at Bilkent University.
