The Department of Communication and Design in collaboration with the
Polish Embassy and the Festival on Wheels invites you to a screening of
short films from Warsaw Film School!
Here For You, directed by Stacey Rushchak, focuses on a mother who
worries about who will take care of her son with Down syndrome when he
grows old and dies. My Old Goals, directed by Natasza Parzymies, tells
the story of Zofia and Ania, who meet again after fifty years and embark
on a journey, and the revival of past feelings. Tomasz Sliwinski’s
Oscar-nominated short documentary Our Curse tells the story of a young
parent trying to cope with their newborn child’s rare and fatal
disease; while The Dress, directed by Tadeusz Łysiak, tells the story
of Julia, a lonely woman who works at a motel frequented by truckers,
whose life changes when she meets a truck driver.
