The World Health Organization reports that approximately 40 million people are affected by non-communicable diseases every year. Similarly, 18 million people experience serious changes in their quality of life due to cardiovascular diseases, 9 million due to cancers, 4 million due to chronic respiratory diseases, and 2 million due to diabetes mellitus. In this conference, information about non-communicable diseases will be shared with cardiovascular diseases, to highlight World Heart Day on September 29, and information will be provided on lifestyle changes that individuals can make and methods of protection from non-communicable diseases.
