LEARNING FROM THE EARTHQUAKE: BUDA TAKES ACTION
Over the past year after the February 6 earthquake, BUDA (Bilkent University, Department of Architecture), has actively engaged in addressing the various questions and challenges posed by the aftermath of the earthquake. We have developed an earthquake handbook through the collaborative efforts of the faculty members and graduate students of BUDA. Additionally, a community center project in Hatay, Arsuz—one of the regions most affected by the earthquake has been designed and implemented.
We cordially invite you to join us at the commemorative event to introduce these initiatives and collectively explore the lessons learned from the earthquake.
