Abstract: Some easy arguments infer the existence of an entity (numbers, properties, etc.) from premises that don’t seem to be about these entities. Many philosophers object that these arguments ‘conjure’ entities into existence. I argue that this objection, the sorcery objection as I call it, is a bad objection.
