“Induced FI-modules in theory and applications”
Abstract: In representation stability theory of symmetric groups categorified by FI-modules, the “induced” ones (to be defined in this talk) are perhaps the easiest to study and their stabilization is rather explicit and rigid. Several results about general FI-modules are proved by a reduction to induced FI-modules. There is also a Dold–Kan type equivalence that gives a useful criterion to show that an FI-module is induced in applications.
