Joe Wierichs is the Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara. In his 17-year career as a Foreign Service Officer he has served in the Department of State’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs as well as on overseas assignments in Shanghai, Chennai, Brussels and Baghdad. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from George Washington University, and a Bachelors of Arts from the University of South Florida.
