About the speaker:
Hamit Coşkun graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Psychology in 1991. He completed his master’s degree in 1996 at The University of Texas at Arlington and his doctorate in 2000. Hamit Coşkun, who started his academic life in 1993 as a Research Assistant at Abant İzzet Baysal University, Department of Psychology, received his Professor title in 2011. He was the Founding Department Head in 2001-2009, Department Head between 2011-2020, acted as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 2014-2018, and was appointed as BAİBÜ Vice President in 2016. In 2006, he received the “Outstanding Young Scientist Award” from the Turkish Academy of Sciences. Prof. Dr. Hamit Coşkun has trained 26 master’s students and 10 doctoral students. He currently works as a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. Some of his research interests are “Brainstorming”, “Creativity”, “Cognitive Arousal”, “Team/Teamwork”, “Mood/Affective Behaviors”, “Psychosocial Behaviors” and “Behavioral/Affective/Epigenetic Processes”
