“Hörmander’s inequality in de Branges space”
Abstract: For an entire function of exponential type which is real and bounded on the real axis an inequality due to Hörmander gives a sharp decay rate of the function near a global maximum. This result has found a recent application in the study of point evaluations in Paley-Wiener spaces, due to Brevig, Chirre, Ortega-Cerdà, and Seip. In this talk we consider a generalization of Hörmander’s inequality to de Branges spaces of entire functions. We also discuss how to apply this result to generalize some of the results of the previously named group to the de Branges space setting.
