Date & Place: December 17, 2021, Friday, 10.30-12.30 & FB-309

Summary: Nowadays, cities are facing increasing urban complexity and grand societal challenges. Hence, there is a growing trend to make urban areas more adaptable to the needs of their citizens by preventing social problems as well as viewing the cities as a vehicle for innovation in urban planning and designing processes. As an answer to the growing need for new approaches for urban development with citizen engagement, and new collaboration models the concept of the urban living lab has emerged. In this talk, LAUD 471 Urban Sociology/Fall 2021-2022 Students will unfold and discuss this innovative, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and evaluating process.
