We are thrilled to announce an upcoming talk where we will delve into the dynamic world of art diplomacy, exploring avenues for cross-cultural dialogue and creative exchange, with a specific focus on funding, research, and projects in collaboration with the Italian Embassy.
Biography: Dario SABBIONI
Born in Parma, Italy, in 1990. He studied in Pisa at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in International Relations. He later graduated with a Master’s Degree in Political Strategy and Communication from the University of Kent and with a Degree in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges.
Following a competitive national examination, he joined the diplomatic Service in 2016.
He worked on sanctions policy at the beginning of his career, before moving to the Office of the Director General for Global Issues. Between 2016 and 2017, he followed the «Raffaele Guariglia» professional training course for junior diplomats. In his first posting abroad since June 2020, he is currently Head of the Public Diplomacy Office and Political Counsellor at the Embassy of Italy in Ankara, overseeing cultural promotion policy in Türkiye.
