Abstract: Cloud computing has revolutionized the way organizations deploy, manage, and scale IT resources. This seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to cloud computing, covering its core concepts, service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and deployment models (public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud). Attendees will explore key benefits such as scalability, cost efficiency, and security while gaining insights into leading cloud providers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. The session will also highlight best practices for cloud adoption, security considerations, and real-world use cases to help participants build a solid foundation in cloud computing.
Bio: Emrah Mutlu received his BSc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University in 2008. Throughout his career he worked as telecommunications engineer, customer support team lead, product support and cybersecurity group manager, cloud solutions architect & engineering sr. manager in international markets. He spent 17+ at Netaş – NetRD – Orion Innovation (as well as Nortel – Genband – Ribbon Communication) contributing to telecom and cloud projects as leader and architect. He is currently leading engineering teams and acting as a CSA in Orion projects. He is also working as a guest lecturer of Yeditepe University Faculty of Computer Engineering.
