“Well-posedness results for semi-periodic non-elliptic Schrödinger equations”
Abstract: In this talk, we consider the hyperbolic nonlinear Schrödinger equations (HNLS) on $\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{T}$. Our goal is to present local and global Strichartz estimates for typical hyperbolic propagators. As an application to such estimates, we obtain the local/global well-posedness of solutions to HNLS in critical Sobolev spaces. We also highlight an analytical connection between the solutions of the hyperbolic Schrödinger and Boltzmann equations.
