About the Concert: This year’s concert will feature immersive acousmatic music played on a 8.1.4 speaker setup, creating a unique three-dimensional auditory experience. Our composers, including Sezer Öykü Çenteler, Alperen Demirkaya, Ceren Ünver, Tokzhan Karatai, Erkın Çokova, and Aslı Kuterdem, will present their works alongside selected pieces from the electroacoustic genre.
Understanding Acousmatic Music: Acousmatic music invites you to experience sound disconnected from its source—music for loudspeakers, where the space becomes the stage. This genre transforms recorded natural sounds into abstract compositions, encouraging listeners to engage with audio as pure, disembodied sonic art. We encourage you to close your eyes and let your imagination be guided by the vivid soundscapes created by our composers.
