“An introduction to isogeny-based cryptography”
Abstract: Imagine a world where you can do cool mathematics and get rich… Oh wait, it exists! In this talk, we will give a general introduction to the world of (number-theoretic) cryptography. After providing a historical overview and covering the very basics of the topic, we’ll enter the realm of post- quantum cryptography and, more specifically, try to give an (outdated) introduction to isogeny-based cryptography. No previous knowledge of cryptography or “fancy” algebra will be assumed.
