Bilkent University, through the International Composition Competition it has been organizing since 2024 in the name of its founder Prof. Dr. İhsan Doğramacı, aims to honor his cherished memory not only in the scientific field but also in the world of art and music. Held biennially, this competition encourages composers to create new works, ensuring that our Founder is remembered once again through the unifying universal power of art. This goal will be carried forward with the creation of new works in planned violin concerto competition (2028) and cello concerto competition (2030) in the years ahead.
