Abstract
The Lecture is a brief overview, through historical examples, on the meanings and the possibilities of the Architecture (including Landscape and Interiors Design) to express its deepest sense of activity of “Humanism”, always at the cross between project and naturalness, philosophy and materials, logic and feeling.
The Space and the Time are categories related to the Genius Loci, to the Culture and Tradition that must be respected but also “pushed” forward with intelligence and sensitivity as History teaches; energy does not disappear, making new the ancient things. The Architecture is therefore a complex communication with several levels of understanding that can tell us more things than expected from a technical and general analysis. It always speaks about our aspirations, our fantasies, our limits and our dreams.
