Abstract
The class will present the results of the Konya Regional Archaeological Survey Project (KRASP), whose aim was to shed light on the development of complex societies in central Anatolia between the Aceramic Neolithic and the end of the Iron Age (9000-300 BCE). It focused on analyzing the processes of sedentism, urbanization, state formation and imperial control in a regional context, and understanding the impact of human activities on the natural environments.

To achieve these goals, KRASP has created a collaborative network of specialists working on satellite imagery analysis, landscape archaeology, geomorphology, provenance and chemical composition analysis, RTI, 3D modelling and philology.
