The term project posters will cover a variety of topics, including historical aspects, responsible innovations and technological controversies. All projects will focus on a key technological development through investigating stakeholder views and emergent sociotechnical outcomes. Students will examine cases from a range of technical arenas, including drone technology, social media, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, video games, nanotechnology and medical technologies. Several student efforts will highlight the role of users in design and identify technical solutions to risk concerns, including privacy and worker safety. In addition to explorations of contemporary technologies, student projects will investigate historical aspects of communications technologies and nuclear power.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
