In this talk, I will describe a categorification of these constructions using Mackey 2-functors. Starting from equivariant categories, we construct left and right mackeyfications by enlarging the original categories in a minimal way so that induction appears. We also relate the two constructions by a mark transformation and discuss examples. This is based on our recent preprint, arXiv:2607.11767, joint work with Paul Balmer.<\/p>\n
Date: 10 September 2026
\nTime: 15:30
\nPlace: SA-141<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Dear Colleagues and Students, You are cordially invited to the Algebra Seminar organized by the Department of Mathematics.
