Bilkent Composition cordially invites you to the first edition of BEAMS \u2014 Bilkent Electroacoustic Music Summit, taking place between 3\u20136 June 2026 at Bilkent University.<\/p>\n
BEAMS brings together concerts and other activities around electroacoustic music, immersive sound, live electronics, and spatial listening. The program includes five concerts: immersive fixed-media works, live electronics, works by Bilkent composers, and a special opening concert for viola and electronics by \u00dczeyir Mahmudbayl\u0131.<\/p>\n
As part of BEAMS 2026, we also organized an international call for immersive fixed-media works and received 65 submissions from composers from 18 countries. Selected works from this call will be presented in the Sound in Space concerts.<\/p>\n
