Shortly after, his position changed to correspondent for Prime Ministry, then Parliament, and finally Presidency correspondent. In 1992 he was ennobled to Deputy Representative of H\u00fcrriyet Ankara Office, and held this position for 11 years. From November 2002 to 2009, apart from his columns, he held the position of Ankara Group Representative for the media outlets including Sabah Newspaper, ATV and Takvim Newspaper. Since 2009, he has been a columnist for Habert\u00fcrk and the Representative for Ciner Media Group. Additionally, he has hosted several TV programs including, &#8220;Ankara&#8217;da Sabah&#8221; for ATV, &#8220;Muharrem Sar\u0131kaya ile G\u00fcndem&#8221; for Habert\u00fcrk. He holds many awards from respected journalism institutions such as Turkish Journalists Association&#8217;s &#8220;Journalist of the Year&#8221; and &#8220;B\u00fclent Dikmener News Prize&#8221;.
