In this introductory talk we describe representation spaces of quivers. A representation of a quiver assigns a vector space to each vertex, and a linear map to to each arrow.
Isomorphism classes of representations of a fixed dimension correspond to orbits of algebraic groups in certain representations. This allows us to study the classification of quiver representations using invariant theory.

Date: Monday, November 26, 2018
Time: 10:40
Place: Mathematics Seminar Room, SA – 141

Dear Colleagues and Students, You are cordially invited to the Algebra Seminar organized by the Department of Mathematics.
