ABSTRACT
\nCopenhagen has been facing an unprecedented population rise and demographical change due to its developing economy thanks to financial investments in not only to job-creating opportunities but also to the city\u2019s built environment since 1990s. Now the challenge is how to facilitate a sustainable social mix of diverse households by designing\/re-designing housing environments.<\/p>\n
BIO
\nN. Burak Bican got his bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees at METU and worked as a professional architect. He studied for a PhD on sustainable social housing regeneration at METU and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
