Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s \u2018The Conversation\u2019 is the next offering from Bilkent Cinematics, on Wednesday, Nov. 8.<\/p>\n
Made in 1974, this movie follows surveillance expert Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) as he watches a young couple he is certain are supposed to be murdered. But is he right or wrong? Harry is one of cinema\u2019s most enigmatic characters, and the film is a brilliant reflection of a deeply sad man and also a highly paranoid culture (post-Watergate USA).<\/p>\n
Coppola\u2019s extraordinary film won the 1974 Palm d\u2019Or at Cannes and features several of his favourite actors, including \u2018Godfather\u2019 stars Robert Duvall and John Cazale, as well as Coppola regular Harrison Ford.<\/p>\n
