Bilkent Cinematics is back for another season of great films, snacks, and discussion! On Thursday, October 12, Cinematics kicks off the new term with Quentin Tarantino\u2019s brilliant Pulp Fiction (1994).<\/p>\n
Was there a more iconic or influential film of the 90s? Not likely. Tarantino\u2019s stunningly structured Oscar-winning movie weaves together multiple narratives and lives in 90s Los Angeles and introduces us to unforgettable characters like hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson). With its sharp, pop-culture laced dialogue and electrifying music from the 60s and 70s, Pulp Fiction quickly emerged as one of the most influential movies in modern cinema.<\/p>\n
